David Warner:

In David Warner, the Delhi Daredevils have found the ideal partner Virender Sehwag for their captain. The diminutive Australian was in sparkling form on the national duty and became a key member of the Australian team in all formats.

In the last T20 against the Windies, Warner smashed a brilliant 58 and was the main contributor for Australians in their triumphant Commonwealth Bank Series where he scored back to back centuries against the Lankans in the best of three finals.

Things can only better for the side who finished last in 2011. The Virender Sehwag-led unit is stronger with the inclusion of star hitters in Sri Lanka skipper Mahela Jayawardene, Englishman Kevin Pietersen and Ross Taylor of New Zealand.

Sehwag opening partner David Warner, who is the national duty in the Windies, will be available at the end of the month. The bowling will be led by Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron and Irfan Pathan. The main concern of Delhi is in the spin zone.
