North Korea denies jamming electronic signals in South Korea
North Korea is denying a claim that it jammed electronic
signals hundreds of flights and ships in South Korea.
South Korea says North interfere with the GPS on civilian
flights and commercial vessels operating near the western border between the
nations last month late and earlier this week.
Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the North, on
Friday called on Seoul to claim a "smear campaign." His spokesman has
accused the government of South Korea to try to boost the voltage.
The spokesman was not named, which is typical in North
Korea.
Had relied on alternative navigation systems to avoid
problems of jamming. South Korean military said its equipment was not affected.
The two Koreas are still technically at war since the Korean
War of 1950 ended with a truce, not a peace treaty.
