Sherlyn Chopra to star in 3D 'Kamasutra' (Video)


 Actress Sherlyn Chopra, the first Indian girl to pose nude for Playboy magazine international has bagged a role in 'Kamasutra 3D', to be directed by Rupesh Paul.
"I'm glad to have aboard Sherlyn. She has the earthiness and sensuality that the character required. This film will redefine his career," Paul said in a statement.
Paul announced the project at the Cannes Film Festival this year. But Sherlyn has been locked by a key role recently.

The film is expected to premiere at the prestigious festival in 2013.
Sherlyn addition, there are two most important characters in the movie that can be played by known actors of Bollywood. The director gave no further details, but said: "The casting is on and all I can say now is that going to be the big surprise of the film."

Finding actors for his film has not been a cakewalk for the director.
"I received mixed reactions from the actors I approached. Though some of them gave me a brand image coolly my graphic porn film, most of them appreciated the bold idea," added Paul.
He strongly defends Kamasutra association with porn.

There is another reason that the director has decided to release the film in 2013.
"Indian cinema is completing 100 years in 2013 and an epic film like 'Kamasutra' must be released in the same year. The film is making the rounds at several international film festivals and will be a celebration of Indian culture is also apart of cinema Indian, "he says.
Trailers initial movie, filmed by Sapan Narula, will be screened soon in Los Angeles November 4 and later in the International Film Festival of Berlin.
