Like the plot of The Sound of Music, Ryan Shawhughes was simply the nanny to the children Ethan Hawke, 41, shared with Uma Thurman. It was a little more than Ryan's skill with the kiddos that caught Daddy’s eye, and she and Ethan became so much more than employer and employee. The pair (pictured at a benefit in NYC on Oct. 28, 2010) married in 2008 and went on to have two children of their own. Although the couple generally keeps mum about their relationship in public, it would seem a passion for kids is a deep bond. Hawke has called fatherhood “the greatest pleasure of my life,” reported People.com, “the only role that, if I fail, I will consider my life a failure.”
