3000m wedding dress train sets Guinness world record in Romania
A Bucharest fashion house has set a Guinness world record for the longest wedding train in history, surpassing the previous record held by a Dutch designer.
It took ten seamstresses from 100 days to create a train in ivory of 1.85 km long, rising above a main avenue in the capital of Romania on Tuesday as the wedding dress was from a hot air balloon.
The building was used by 17 year old model Emma Dumitrescu to promote the Fair this year of the wedding in Bucharest.
In 2009, a famous Chinese girlfriend married in a wedding dress 1.4 miles long that took more than 200 guests over three hours to unwind.
The previous record for world's longest train stood at 2,488 meters.
