Important for SEO 101 your web site
Website architecture is an important part of the overall search engine optimization (SEO) strategy. A large volume of scientific literature on the importance of web architecture with two different perspectives, which are extremely important for effective website optimization. The first perspective focuses on the user and the user needs, and the other focuses on the robots of search engines and the flow of "link juice" (I'll explain what link juice and its role SEO below). As a webmaster, it is imperative that you get them both spot on. Anecdotal evidence shows that there is a direct correlation between the two. When the user experience improves, so does the distribution of "link juice" and vice versa. This post is mainly focused on the flow of "link juice" and how you can use the architecture of your site to accomplish this.
Before continuing, it pays to have an understanding of how the 'link juice'. There are many great resources that cover this topic, but for the purposes of this post I will give an explanation with an analogy.
The links pointing to your website benefit they bring with them to your site. A link to your site is similar to one vote. The benefit of these links pointing to your site is what is known as "link juice". Imagine for a moment the flow of water for irrigation; juice similarity link here is that of water. Like the crops need water to grow, individual web pages require links to rank search queries on search results pages (SERP). The lack of water flowing in the cultures can result in the destruction of crops. Similarly, the lack of approval of link juice on the websites can seriously hamper their ability to classify and even indexing by search engines.
Similar to how farmers distribute water flow to all cultures, architecture, good website helps the flow of link juice to all your web pages, helping them to rank well. Too often websites with architectural issues behave similarly to a dam. All of your link juice will be blocked on the main page of the website, it would not allow the flow of link juice to their category pages, subcategory and content. Recently, I ran into this same problem with one of my clients. They were getting thousands of links to your page, but an entire section of its website and is not indexed nor pass any of the links to your category or content pages. They were taking advantage of the enormous amounts of link juice they were receiving due to poor web architecture (among others). Therefore, it is important not only for high quality links (or link juice) to your site, but it is equally important to take advantage of link juice to help strengthen the capacity of classification of all your web pages.
I hope my (attempt to) analogy helped him understand the concept of link juice and its relationship with the web architecture. So how do you ensure that the architecture of your website is SEO?
Below is a list of basic and powerful tips that can help optimize the flow of link juice through your site.
Inspect the site's global navigation
Most web sites receive as many backup links to your homepage. Therefore, in terms of link juice, pages are generally high. The means by which the juice is distributed link to the rest of the site's global navigation menu. Global navigation helps link all the pages in the category from the homepage. In order to find common problems with global navigation, disable JavaScript in your browser (this allows you to see what search engines see) and see if the global navigation still works. If not, then this is cause for concern and should be addressed immediately. Most SEO friendly global navigation menus appear as standard HTML unordered lists. Also note if all the main sections of your website are linked to global navigation. As mentioned above, all main sections of your website should be taking advantage of the home page of links.
Category and subcategory pages
Usually when a site has a number of web pages, it makes sense to separate these pages by category. These pages serve two purposes: first they must be useful to users. To do this, not just what you need to make sure it is easy for users to navigate through pages of content, but also need to make sure there is not enough unique and useful content on these pages. Webmasters must put at least a minimum amount of effort into making these pages link worthy. Second, routers must act as "link juice". The links are on the page must be distributed to the content pages. In fact, if intelligently and strategically optimize, category pages have a great opportunity to place in the SERPs for keywords very competitive.
Content pages
Content pages are the reason why visitors came to your site. In order to provide the benefit of the "link juice" the greatest of your content pages, make sure that the number of clicks to your page content is as minimal as possible (do not hide their contents 6-7 clicks of the page principal). Moreover, in addition to the content that is important, you must make sure that make it easier for search engines to discover the purpose of the page. In order to leave clues for the search engines you can use the following:
• The title tags
• URL
• The content and
• Images
Title tags
Make sure your keywords are relevant, specific place within the title tag of the page. Search engines generally list only 60-70 characters of the title tags in your results page, so it is considered good practice to ensure that they adhere to this character limit. Personally, if the target keyword is very competitive, I would put these words in front of your brand.
URL
URL structure is important because it is a great track for the bots of search engines to make sense of the hierarchy of site information.

The above address clearly defines the hierarchy of the site architecture. It allows the search engine know that this page applies to engagement rings sapphire blue (not just the stone).
However, the URLs that look like the following are not so clear about its architectural hierarchy or the definition of the object on the page.

Content
Although this is obvious, it is surprising as to how a little thought is put into the actual content of many websites. Make the content that is unique and addresses the specific keywords. This does not mean stuffing your content with keywords, but make sure the targeted keywords in your content to appear naturally. It is also worth noting that you should pay attention to spelling and grammar. See "<a to review grammar </ a>" for more on this topic.
Imagery
Lately, much has been written about the optimization of the image and its correlation with the achievement of high rankings in the SERPs, especially in image searches. Therefore, it is best practice to include the alternative text attribute in which all the HTML code for the images of all pages for public access. This attribute declares the text that should appear if the user can not see the image. Therefore, make sure you include keyword rich and descriptive alt text.
