Stephen Fry supports Malala, asks fans to sign the petition
Actor Stephen Fry has supported Malala Yousufzai Pakistani
activist who was shot by gunmen Taliban for lending his voice to the rights of
girls' education.
The actor of 55 years, published a link Education First UN
campaign in his Twitter page and asked everyone to sign a petition in support
of the 14-year-old, reports dailystar.co.uk.
"We add our voices to Malala and the call for education
of girls. Please sign," wrote Mr. Fry.
Malala was the first winner of the National Award for Peace
Pakistan, who was killed by unidentified gunmen in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa country's
October 9.
He is currently being treated at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital, Birmingham, UK.
