Anchala, who lost her life

Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa visited Achala, at the National Hospital along with External Affairs Minister G.L. Peiris yesterday. MP Namal Rajapaksa said an artificial hand would be provided to Achala, who underwent surgery after physicians came to a conclusion that all nerves in her left hand were lifeless. The government will bear all expenses for the prosthetic which is to be imported. Responding to a request by Achala that she wants to see her mother who is in Lebanon, External Affairs Minister GL Peiris promised the ministry would take prompt action to bring Achala’s mother to the country. Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa said the government will assist her in her higher studies.
