British singer Adele is 2011's best-selling iTunes

(Reuters) - British singer Adele became the first artist to achieve three milestones in the iTunes music list, recording a best-selling 2011 single, best-selling album and was named iTunes Artist of the year, the company music, said Thursday.


The singer of 23 years of age, the single "Rolling in the Deep" beat stiff competition from Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, LMFAO and Green Ceel in the category of best-selling songs, while her album "21" was able to records exceed Mumford & sons, Lil Wayne, Coldplay and Kanye West and Jay-Z.

ITunes Rewind The list highlights the most downloaded of the year in the Apple iTunes store, but the company gave no sales figures.

Album of the rock band Foo Fighters seventh studio "Losing the Light" was named album of the year, while the rapper Nicki Minaj was given the Artist of the Year title, while Los Angeles indie rock encourage people won the Song of the Year with the title "Water Pump kicks."

2010 David Fincher, the film "The Social Network", topped the list of movies sold, while the BBC "Doctor Who" series was the greatest television series of sale and the "Angry Birds" was named the game application paid for selling the iPhone and the iPad.
