44% of users "never" click on the ads from Facebook: Survey report
A recent survey revealed an upward struggle for Facebook
advertising program, independent digital marketing agency Greenlight said.
44% of survey respondents worldwide said they
"never", click on a sponsored Facebook ads while 30 percent
"completely mistrust" of social networking with their personal data.
Facebook ranked as the third most popular site (after Google
and YouTube) when asked "How do you regularly use the Web sites or
services?".
He finished second to the question "Which of the
following do you use your mobile phone?, With about 30 percent of respondents
say they use Facebook on their mobile phones and tablets.
50 percent of survey respondents said they use Facebook to
Greenlight social commitment, sharing photos, and catching up with friends and
family.
"The popularity of Facebook does not come as a
surprise. However, with over 30% of respondents said they "strongly
suspicious" Facebook with their personal data, Facebook's advertising
program has a fight on the rise, "says Hannah Kimuyu, director of paid
media to Greenlight.
"Facebook's advertising program allows brands to
connect with over 800 million potential customers by targeting their age, sex,
