Eleven Famous People who survived being shot- Bob Marley

Bob Marley, legendary Jamaican singer, activist and humanitarian, was shot in a terrifying attack on his home by gunmen in 1976, only two days before a concert organized by the Jamaican Prime Minister in order to ease tensions between warring political groups. Marley’s wife and manager were both seriously wounded in the attack and Marley himself received minor wounds in the chest and arm. Despite all this, Bob went on to play that concert, claiming “The people who are trying to make this world worse aren’t taking a day off. How can I?” Think about that the next time you want to knock off work early to chill at the beach. Of course, I’m guessing that Bob had some help fighting through the pain thanks to some, uh, special medicine.
